Your High School must host two blood drives. The scholarship is available to any student regardless of whether he or she donates blood.
The student must submit a typed, single spaced essay of up to 500 words that offers ideas on how to motivate others to donate blood, ways to contribute when not an eligible donor or how to keep high school donors as active donors after graduation.
The student must plan to attend an institution of higher learning in the year following award of the scholarship.

The Texas Student Housing Authority offers a $2,500 Scholarship per year for a maximum value of $10,000. TSH owns facilities in Austin, College Station, and Denton.

1n 2008, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the Texas Engineering Foundation will award approximately $100,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who plan to study engineering at an ABET-accredited university.

East Texas State Fair is proud to announce the annual scholarship program. If you are planning to a ttend Tyler Junior College you should apply for this scholarship. Information may be obtained at www.etstatefair.com.
East Texas Cattle-Ettes offer a $1000 scholarship for those attending TJC as well. Two other organizations associated with East Texas State Fair offer scholarships: East Texas Farm and Ranch and East Texas Pineywoods Cattlewomen information may be obtained from the same website.

This scholarship is for students who are planning to persue a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, computer science, and management information or computer information systems.

Every year, the Frontier Fiesta Association gives ten scholarships to deserving incoming freshman and current UH students.
