Dear Senior Parent,
I am sorry that some of you were unable to attend the Financial Aid Workshop last night. Rebecca Daughtry of Angelina College was present to assist parents in acquiring their PIN number and answering questions about financial aid. She provided the latest information concerning Federal and State grants, scholarship opportunities through Angelina College and briefly touched on loans. She has graciously offered to return at any time to assist parents and students with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Rebecca and I have scheduled a second visit for February 19, 2008. Rebecca will work from my office by appointment from 8:30 until 3:30. She will assist parents with completing the FAFSA. Please call my office and schedule your appointment now. My number is 936-362-2132 Ext. 33.
Nacogdoches High School is hosting its annual College Night at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2007. They usually have 40 to 50 colleges and universities represented. This is a good opportunity to visit with recruiters from the schools you are interested in attending.
